As today’s lifestyles and working years get busier we need to find time to spend with our rapidly growing family, This seems to happen almost overnight, blink and you feel as though you have missed it. Portraits are an ideal way to keep special memories of your children as they grow and change.

With children it can be difficult to photograph them being themselves, genuine smiles are always better than poses, photographs of your child giggling and laughing will remind you of the fun you have had whilst watching them grow.

I do not set a time limit to get the photographs required, some children love to pose and smile, whereas some need a little coaxing to get the best from them, I allow for each session to take about an hour, this strikes a balance between getting the perfect shot and your child getting restless.

Perhaps you would like your family to be photographed in the garden or at a local park, perhaps running through Autumn leaves or splashing in water, How about you, the kids and the family dog on a typical walk or maybe simply a more informally posed portrait session in natural surroundings?
